The Emirates Stadium stands proud in Islington and houses both the men’s and women's football teams. Some of football’s most amazing players have called Arsenal their home, including Emma Byrne, Alex Scott, Faye White, and Leah Williamson. These women are not only great football players, but they are inspirations to women everywhere, especially those who want to break into sport.

The world of sport, especially the beautiful game, is a challenging place for women. This was brought to the fore once again during the 2019 world cup, where American player Megan Rapinoe was very outspoken about the unfair differences between men’s and women’s football.

Despite the disadvantages they may face, the Arsenal women are committed to making the world a better place, with players signing up to Common Goal, and making donations to the NHS.
